My research
I am mostly interested in various aspects of algebraic geometry.
In particular, I have been studying the geometry of Severi varieties, quantum cohomology of toric varieties, singular varieties and their deformations, birational geometry of algebraic spaces, algebraic-tropical correspondence, etc. My current research focuses mostly on applications of tropical geometry to algebraic geometry and its relations to Berkovich analytic geometry.

My department
I am a faculty member at the department of mathematics of BGU. The department has a strong research group in Algebraic Geometry and Number Theory.
The group seminar meets weekly on Wednesdays afternoon.

אני חבר סגל במחלקה למתמטיקה של אוניברסיטת בן-גוריון בנגב. במחלקה יש קבוצת מחקר חזקה בגיאומטריה אלגברית ותורת המספרים.
